Keel Services, LLC provides parents and families with resources, guidance and support as they move forward, empowered to help their children reach their goals.

 

Parents seeking services may be at different stages of their journey, therefore services and packages through Keel Services will be tailored to parent and family needs and goals.

Providing education and resources to lead to greater understanding of your child's

• Diagnosis & Eligibility,

• Evaluation Process,

• Individual Education Plan (IEP),

• Intervention and Service Plans (504, Positive Behavior Plan, Health Plan, etc.),

• Parental Rights and Procedural Safeguards.

 

Provide education and resources for understanding and advocating within your child's educational system, community and with service providers.

Providing education, consultation, and guidance for organization of your child's paperwork. 

 

Organizing files: Requests, Evaluations, Meeting Notes, Service Plans, IEPs, Progress Monitoring.

 

Organizing data to document and more easily track your child's progress and growth.  

 

Documentation: Meeting Notes, Communication Logs, Journaling.  Understanding important information to document. Understanding the value of your notes and documentation.

 

Review and Preparation for meetings and school communications. 

 

Ensure you are an equal member of your child's team using your organized files and documentation to participate in meetings focused on your child's strengths and needs and informing your child's goals and accommodations.  

 

Working with parents to find clarity in their family goals and helping guide them in achieving those goals in education, community or in the home.

 

Providing parenting consultation and/or coaching to empower parents to find clarity in their family goals.  Providing guidance in determining the path to achieving those goals in education and/or within their home and community.

Providing parents with resources based on family needs.

 

Provide learning opportunities for parents to learn how to seek 

needed resources and evaluate if they are a reliable and trusted resource.

Building your VILLAGE is so important for learning, sharing, and finding resources.  Hearing and sharing successes and challenges provide insight and learning for all of us.  Most find it validating and comforting to have a community that understands the journey we are on as parents with children with unique needs.  

 

Parents will be guided to explore local, community, state, and national organizations and groups.  Explore networking with parents who walk a similar path, with parents who have walked this path ahead, and with parents outside of our communities.

Parents interested can be provided with opportunities to explore advocacy for their children based on their personal goals and interests.
