Meghann Bierly
Parent and Educational Consultant, Coach and Advocate
My name is Meghann Bierly, founder of Keel Services. Prior to founding Keel Services, I worked within the education and community systems for 20 years. I held various positions, including Certified School Psychologist, Parent Educator, and Family Counselor. My hope and mission in founding Keel Services, is to use my experience to help parents feel empowered and confident in their parenting.
I believe parents know their child best and are the strongest advocate for their child. Over the years, I have worked with many parents who feel overwhelmed when parenting a child with special or unique needs. The educational system seems to have their own language, the medical world uses another language, and when parents search for community and local resources it seems like yet another world with a unique dialect that is difficult to understand.
I strive to help families and travel this journey with you to find the answers and solutions. My role in this journey together is to provide balance and stability under the surface (as a keel provides for a ship) as you steer your family ship on the set path and define your destination (goals) for your child and family. My goal for you and your family, by the time we end our trip together, is you will have developed into your own keel for your family's ship and continued journey together.
